What are the closet airports and how far away are they?
Fort Lauderdale International Airport is located 7.5 miles or 20 minutes from the Pillars. For those coming by private plane the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport is north of the hotel by about 10 miles or 25 minutes by car. European and most South American flights are served by the Miami International Airport which is 45 minutes and 31 miles of The Pillars. Guests may also fly in to Palm Beach International Airport which is 48 miles north of the hotel or about an hour away.
How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
Private car service can be arranged in advance by our Front Desk at (954) 467-9639. Most rental car companies have counters directly at the airport. And of course, cabs are always available right outside the terminals.
What are the reservation confirmation, deposit and guarantee policies?
A confirmation will be emailed to you within 24 hours of your reservation. With a one night stay, a deposit equivalent to one night room and taxes will be charged at the time of the reservation. For reservations of two (2) nights or more, a fifty percent (50%) deposit of your total stay will be charged at the time of the reservation. Reservations during hotel special events or special occasions are subject to particular deposits requirements. All reservations have to be guaranteed with one of the following credit card: American Express, Visa or MasterCard.
What is The Pillars’ cancellation policy?
Winter reservations must be cancelled 14 days prior to arrival date for a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made after that time will forfeit an amount equal to the deposit. Summer and fall reservations must be cancelled 7 days prior to arrival for a full refund. Cancellations made after that time will forfeit an amount equal to the deposit. Please, be advised that all reservation must be cancelled by 5pm on the day the cancellation policy goes into effect.
Please note that special cancellation rules apply to holiday weekends and special events.
What type of security does the hotel offer?
The Pillars has 2 entrances, the main entrance and a side entrance off the parking lot, both under video surveillance. Overnight, only the main entrance is open.
What services should I book in advance?
Since seating at our restaurant the Secret Garden is limited, guests are advised to book dinner prior to arrival. For best service, Spa arrangements should also be made in advance. In season it is also wise to make dinner reservations at some of the more popular local restaurants prior to arrival. Our guest services staff can assist you with recommendations and bookings.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, we do not allow any kind of pet at The Pillars.
What are your early check-in / late check-out?
We will make special effort to accommodate special requests. In the event that we are not able to provide you with an early check-in/late check-out as a result of our availability, we will be happy to storage your luggage and let you use our cabana bath to change or shower.
